Uprising Bands

These are some bands that you will start see shirts and their names mentioned randomly around CCHS. They are the bands that are soon to be very big or are just reaching that point.
Streetlight Manifesto - Streetlight Manifesto deserves any fame/credit they are receiving. Musical genius, Tomas Kalnoky, has led this band to its success. Kalnoky has been in many musical projects such as Catch 22 and Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution. Every piece of music that Kalnoky works with becomes a masterpiece. Streetlight Manifesto’s CD “Everything Goes Numb” mixes many genres of music with it’s main focus on Ska. Influences such as reggae, punk, grunge, and even Latin are easily notices throughout the CD. This is definitely a band that will soon enough be huge, check them out.
Say Anything - Max Bemis, once again, is another musical genius that is slowly gaining his much deserved popularity. He is the Singer/Guitar This Indie/Rock influenced band is changing the way listeners view the Indie scene. With the latest release, “Say Anything...Is a Real Boy”, you are taken into the mind of a man dealing with his problems and just opening up to anyone who listens to this CD. Every Song on the CD is taken from thoughts in his head, rather than direct personal events. The Postal Service - Techno has always been a genre of music that is just there, but never a type that really seems to have a strong scene. so had a show friday night....the week leading up to it was death. Had newspaper layout due friday by 2....and only 2 practices to write songs to play a show. Also my mom found out about a party i had this last weekend, my mom got in a car accident. Fun Fun weeek. Friday was good tho....the show turned out sooo good. We played the songs fine...people loved it. People get sick of the same serious shit. Sometimes they just wanna throw around babies and bouncy balls. So aftermath played clear channel fuck off and i played it with them. fun fun. Tons of friends came. Special thanks to sara :) The baby got torn apart, i got the leg. Matt fought like 3 kids for it and got it. Much respect...heh. Dying my hair blue today....just the blonde. Practice today. Everythings back to normal. okay so i really dont feel like typing each thing out.....but i thought i was gonna die...too many fucked up things happened in one night.

I was supposed togoto sunrise with eddy...and ended up going to a karaoke bar with ann, carol, carols step bro, and his friend lenore. sooo we go and watch some people sing badly....then carols(verrry gay) brother gets up and sings spice girls. this was SOOO funny. Hes fucking hilarious...so onto other things. Watching karaoke...i look at an older woman and she flashes an older guy that is singing...okay..so what the fuck on that. Carol comes up to me sometime and tells me about this kid in a trench coat handing her a switchblade cause hes so fucking cool...2 sleezy fucks try to sell drugs outside the bar. We walked to Dr.desserts and were walking down a hallway....and a little asian boy in a rainbow something comes around the corner....realllllly creepy. then they get closer and it was a TINY asian lady. Scared me SOOO bad. I went home. after more than likely some more fucked up things. Went to the Smith's house and everyone was drinking. I encouraged jay to get naked and run around the house.....always funny. Eddy went 10 miles on a little bike thing that measures the distance you ride. I think i went home sometime around 3 or something...not sure

saturday night...did some more shit...hung out at stephs...people drank...broken screen...came home...people drank...up til 6...sleep

now...anns coming over<3 sooo the weekend and is done...and wow. I dont even know.

Leftover crack show...wow cant wait. Going up to orlando for that one on december 10th. I was gonna goto halloween horror nights this upcoming weekend but its definitely way too expensive. I heard it really isnt worth the money. Maybe next year. Saturday night...had a party pretty much annnd didnt plan it. People just came over and alcohol just kept showing up. Lee threw up drinking....he always says he doesnt throw up....loser. So ive been hanging out with ann every day....amazing...carol too. Everythings been just about as good as it could get. Maybe if it was the beginning of summer but thats not happenin for a while. Ive been completely obsessed with stencils. Theyre so good....uh...bye

Folly show

Chris drank more than I've seen anyone drink....the show was at the alley and we sat outside for most of it....didnt want to watch the shitty hardcore bands. We sat on blakes truck and blasted big d. It was pretty fun just hanging out outside. So I went in for folly....what a fucking disapointment. They played amazing, and sounded great....but only played 3 fucking songs. (Broken, Repeat I Repeat I Repeat, and Don't shoot the piano player) They shared the set with some friends from New Jersey that happened to be at this show....such bullshit. O well....it was cool just hanging out...eddy didnt goto this one cause he got kicked outta blakes car, Blake went insane cause eddy opened the window in the back of his truck and blake kept telling him not to. It was good. another show down....i just can't wait for leftover crack.

hmmm...leftover crack is coming to orlando...insannne. I looked up the club...and it says its a latin, reggae, place that is in an alleyway with only a mirror factory around it. Now it doesn't get any better than that. The problem...they said most of their shows are 18+...theres a chance this is all ages tho...ill die if i cant go to that...my playlists consist of morning glory, postal service, and modest mouse today...what a fucked up mix. anywayss..my mom took me out of school today, hung out with eddy at the steps. All is well, i dont really have problems to complain about..heh. 1 month thurseday already<33 insaneness : ) later

im pretty much writin just to keep awake...lets see...right about now all i do is see ann <3, carol, chris, eddy, and goto school. Definitely working out nicely for me...cept for the school part. FSPA was today...didnt learn too much....just that an entertainment writer has a good job and that our school has alot more bullshit censorship than most other high schools. Report cards in like 2 weeks or something....defintely sucks...i gotta stop sleepin in psych...maybe do some cocaine...whatever it takes. There are some really good shows coming up. Cant wait for Say anything...or bouncing souls/against me!...annnd the possible jacksonville leftover crack show...thatd be so good. Lets hope for it. uhkay...bye?
